The "Other" John McCain Speaks Out [J. Peter Pham]
GoMids.com posted an exclusive interview with the "other" John McCain, Naval Academy Midshipman John Sidney "Jack" McCain IV. Midshipman McCain is the fourth John McCain in as many generations to go through Annapolis, following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather, Admiral John S. McCain Sr. (Class of 1906), his grandfather, Admiral John S. McCain Jr. (Class of 1931), and, of course, his father, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Captain John S. McCain III (Class of 1958).
Incidentally, not all the recent McCains have been sailors. Jack's brother James enlisted in the Marines in 2006 and recently returned from his first tour in Iraq, while great-grandfather John S. McCain Sr.'s older brother, Brigadier General William Alexander McCain, was a member of the U.S. Military Academy Class of 1902.
