RE: The Army Is Cracking Down on Military Bloggers   [Steve Schippert]

The conversation is heating up regarding new regulations. At last year's MilBlogger Conference in DC, Matt Burden (BlackFive) was ahead of the curve when he said:

If the Army restricts bloggers, all you will have are pissed-off dissident bloggers who are willing to take a risk...every Article-15 schlep will be blogging and all of the guys in this room who are trying to get the stories out, will not. That'll be the end.

Brad Levinson and some other Georgetown grad students made an excellent documentary short of the inaugural 2006 MilBlogger Conference, and Matt's quote above closes the video.
