Kathryn says, "I can imagine the feeling is mutual."

There is no question about this. First, the Army would prefer to take the high road. Second, it's frustrating to the Army, not only because of the negative impact of Beauchamp's lies (and I say lies because anyone who has ever served — and who knows how the military works — has known since these silly little stories first came to light that Scott Thomas Beauchamp was either a fictitious character or a liar), but it's frustrating because Army officials are having to waste productive daylight hours on this garbage.
